Hello,
The school where I work has two major building code violations, and I would like to report them for the safety of the students that attend the school.
First, every time there is an inspection from the fire department, the school uses shelves and furniture to hide the kitchen on the third floor of the school, making it appear as if there is no kitchen at all.
Second, many rooms in the school leaks when it rains outside (including the office, the library, several classrooms, and the back stairwell) and instead of fixing the problem the school maintenance team has installed "indoor" rain gutter to catch the rain. Since the ceiling and building frame are so wet that the water drips down from the ceilings, I worry about the structural integrity of the building, as well as mold problems from the wet material that could have a negative impact on the health of the children and teachers.
My school is located at
Alphabet Street School
919-4 Bangbae 1 Dong

This week they informed us that there will be a fire safety inspection, and I was shocked that they used furniture to hide the kitchen. The kitchen is located on the 3rd floor near the back stairwell, behind some temporary shelves.
I worry for the safety of the kindergarten students who go to school there, since they are too small to know what to do in the event of an emergency.
I wish to remain anonymous so the phone number provided is the school s. Please feel free to e-mail me for any more questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer. |
